Aveeno Baby !!

After picking up grocery we were on our way back home, when the security guard handed over this huge package for me. I had no idea of what it contained so I got really excited to open it up only to find the hair and skin care products from Aveeno. Personalized planner and the Moisture Monitor are a bonus....

Aveeno - is a subsidiary of American consumer goods and pharmaceutical company Johnson & Johnson in United States. Seriously speaking I had never heard of this brand earlier and was only using Johnson's until last few days, but I was very keen to try out this new brand for Nia .

Aveeno Baby is made of Active Naturals - which are natural ingredients sourced from nature, uniquely formulated and scientifically proven to deliver real skin benefits. It uses Active Naturals Colloidal Oatmeal (powder processed out of whole oat grains), and they also have an Eczema therapy line that helps toddlers with eczema. Isn't that amazing ??

I used the Aveeno tear free wash and shampoo for the last 2 weeks and applied Daily moisture lotion to her body right after the bath, and the first thing I noticed was the creamy and tear-free formula, which did not make her skin dry after bath. Now that she has started to crawl and stand up on her own with support, half of her daytime is on the playmat so it becomes really important to keep her knees, wrists and elbows clean and moisturized at all times, in order to maintain the soft and supple skin texture that she naturally has.

I took the moisture readings using the moisture monitor about 3 times a day - mornings right after she woke up, after bath and at the night before she sleeps. My purpose of using the monitor was to know exactly how long does the Aveeno moisturizer stays on her skin and if the reading's would differ after a week's use of the product.

The readings on day 1 were as follows - 44.6% ,  50.8% , 54%
Day 7 - 52% , 55.7% , 57.2%     -  It does work !!!!

I tried the Aveeno wash & shampoo alongwith Aveeno daily moisture lotion afterwards for Nia and the other one is still on the line, but I did try Aveeno baby soothing relief moisturizing cream for myself and loved it to the core.

I had the most surprising and amazing experience using the Aveeno baby range as it is 20 times more creamy and hydrating as compared to Johnson & Johnson. I have experimented with N number of body butters and body lotions for myself and was never this satisfied as I am with Aveeno baby today. I apply the lotion on my hands and legs right after the shower and it remains well nourished until the end of the day, I even tried it on my feet(being the most exposed and dry part of the heels) and was surprised to see it did not let them become dry.

I would definitely suggest all you mommies out there to try out the Aveeno Baby Range and see the results for yourself.
