Happy Thursday everyone, here are the photos from our little India trip last month. We got the chance to explore a new city this time around - Chennai and not actually the city but we had stayed near the beach.
It's called Mahabalipuram - a strip of land between the Bay of Bengal and the Great Salt Lake. Basically a very calm, beautiful and serene place to create some memories with your fam.
We stayed at Intercontinental Resort which is a huge property with a private beach, lots of greens, good food and amazing hospitality. I had so many photo spots but because it was only 2 days and my mother and Nia were meeting after months we did not go out much except being at the pool for hours.
It was an hour plus drive from Chennai city and it was perfect for us as we needed to be disconnected from the world and hustle for sometime. The resort does have a restaurant but if you want more options you would only find places after 10kms from the place. I would suggest you to finish the city tour or shopping and then go stay at the resort just to relax. Private beach was my personal fav spot to be at and I must say Nia had loads of fun playing in the sand and getting her clothes dirty without me having to stop her.
