SK-II Festive Launch Party & Artjam

Hi girlies, here is a glimpse of how the limited edition of SK-II Facial Treatment Essence looks like, and I will tell you a little more about how and why it was launched.

The design you see on the bottles is inspired by traditional Japanese marbling, SUMINAGASHI, or "FLOATING INK" in Japanese.

The art of Suminagashi was chosen for its powerful philosophy which states that there is no wrong drop, each dot and swirl come together to create  unique art piece. Designed in red, blue and green, this art transforms SK-II's iconic Facial Treatment Essence into the season's must-have gift for your loved ones. 

On 13th october special guest and Taiwan based Malaysian singer Nicholas Teo graced the festive launch of the Suminagashi-inspired limited edition festive facial treatment essence.

Suminagashi Master Shuhei Goto from Japan presented his excellent skills on a handkechief and later all the media was divided into groups to perform their own Suminagashi on a piece of paper and the best picture was chosen by the master himself and each member got a special prize from SK-II.

Here are a few pictures from the event and the limited edition bottles available in Malaysia and is only sold s part of the festive sets and no available as individual bottles.

I am lucky to have got it and as I have been using this skincare product for over an year now I am addicted to it.

There is a little funny incidence I want to share with you all related to this event, I had no idea earlier who this guy was and the chinese girls and crowd was getting crazy and shouting, clicking his pictures from all angles possible, until he was invited onto the stage and he performed a song from his new album.... Hence I do not have a selfie with him....lol

• Butylene Glycol
• Pentylene Glycol
• Water
• Sodium Benzoate
• Methylparaben

How to Use : 1.  Soak a cotton pad with Facial Treatment Essence 2. Gently smooth onto your face and neck for 1 minute 3.  Turn the cotton pad around and gently pat over your face, neck, and decolletage until absorbed.

REVIEW : The texture is more like a water based product, but I do not like the smell of it as it is fermented. Just a very little amount is enough for face and neck. Can be applied before or after your toner and before the moisturizer. I love the instant shine and glow it gives to my face, the skin feels soft, supple and more touchable. 

Website also says - In 14 days your skin's 5 dimensions are visibly transformed -  spots are less visible, appearance of wrinkles is reduced, skin texture is more refined, firmness is improved and radiance is beautifully elevated. Skin becomes breathtakingly crystal clear.

I agree to all of this, now a days when I hardly sleep too much and develop eye bags faster, I find using this makes my face look fresh and skin more beautiful and mositurized. Bonus - your husband or boyfriend can use it too !! I am in love with this product and sometimes if I am too lazy I only apply this and go to bed, waking up pretty and happy.

It is  bit expensive but totally worth it and will last a longer time than you expect, you can go ahead and try with a smaller bottle before buying  bigger one.
