Hey girls, how have you been? Today I sit on a hot sunny day to share with you my story of Dior all over makeup palette. Unusual but true I did not buy this rather my husband gifted it to me on a very special occasion. Not all must be knowing about Karwachauth ( North Indian married women fast for the safety and longevity of their husbands, and fast from sunrise until moonrise ) and its a beautiful one day festival, where we get to dress up in saree, heavy jewellery and make up to do the ritual and break the fast,it turns lucky when husband gifts something you wanted for a long time.
I know its looking a little out of place, all thanks to my little niece who dropped it once thankfully its alive.
This kit consists of :- 1. Dior skin forever compact foundation
2. 6 Eyeshadows with base prep
3. 2 Dior addict Lip plumpers
4. 2 Dior addict lipgloss
5. Dior show new look Mascara
6. Sponge
7. 2 Double ended applicators
The most exciting thing about this travel kit is its shiny black leather case, looks classy in a handbag and convenient to carry while travel. Plus its a complete makeup palette so there is no need to carry anything else and make your travel bag heavy. I don't know whether same palette is available anymore or not, as I got it in 2013. But you girls can have a look at their outlet or duty free shops for different choices.
Till then enjoy life and shop, because life is too short to hold grudges, and if you have same stories do share them with me too !!

I have been keeping this fast since I'm married, and I can't explain the beautiful feeling I get everytime I stay without food and water the whole day, until he makes me drink it while looking at the moon. I had no idea he might be getting something, as he was expected to reach home late night, yet he surprised me and brought a huge smile on my face.

Cool. It looks like quite a handy kind of palette as you have everything you need already, like you said, convenient for traveling and I love that black casing as well, looks really posh and chic.
ReplyDeleteI also find the palette colour selection pretty pink, nude and neutral, quite the tones that I would like to have.
Looking good! I only wish that I could see the makeup you have with them or the saree that you said you wore for that special fasting day *_^
Perhaps one of these days I get to see a picture of that! haha
