Ditch the summer ..... !!

Hi guys, how have you all been? If you follow me on Instagram you already might be knowing about how crazy traveling we have been doing on this trip to India. It's Nia's first trip to India and she travelled to so many places, some of which were not even on the cards - New Delhi, Goa, Bangalore, Belgam, Coorg and Bhopal. We have spent approx 40 hours on road( by which I mean car), train journey counting to almost 45hours, flight for around 7.5hours excluding our flight from Malaysia to KL which is a 5hr 40min flight.

But I feel so proud saying that she never troubles me at all, neither through the journey nor later and rather just simply gets adjusted to the surroundings. This is our last week in India and now I just can't wait to get back home and spend some quality time with Nia and her daddy. Homesick :(

Kurta : Lifetsyle
Bag : Coach
Sunnies : Prada similar (here)
Flats : Nine West similar (here)

Kurta is the most traditional and comfortable of all when you think of wearing something Indian and look feminine. I always used to be so excited to wear it in my college as two days of the week we were only supposed to wear formals, and I don't mind saying that I picked kurta over a shirt/pant 95% of times.

There are so many ways to pair a kurta with and the best one I know is with denims or cotton pants which are a trend this summer. I got this long linen front slit kurta from Lifestyle store in Delhi, which is a huge fashion and retail store in India. Yes, I love my long hair left open but the weather reaching it's height and scorching sun getting to my face a high pony was my rescue.
I added a little pop of black with my boho necklace which was a steal from a local street shop, my fav Prada sunnies and a black handbag. I avoided the boring flat sandal look with kurta by replacing it with these cute sequin babies from Nine West and..tadaaaa.

Working on many other posts, watching a movie on my tv as it's sunday, coz Nia had made it impossible for us to watch in the theatre yesterday. And thinking of a Venti Iced Caramel  Macchiato by the pool around 5 !!

How's ur sunday been so far ?

xo, Kanchan
