Its a beautiful morning for us, we woke up cuddling and wishing each other as its been 4years today since we got engaged. Yes four long years but it still feels like yesterday that we started preparing for our ring ceremony. Let me take you a little back in that time and share my experience of love and excitement with you all.
I was particular about the whole theme and what colors all would be wearing for the dinner, but for us both we had chosen Purple to be dominant. That time was really speical and amazing for we were getting engaged and married soon afterwards, whole life was about to change for good. I used to go shopping very often with my parents to select a perfect violet saree for me until I got diagnosed with 'TYPHOID', which broke me into tears and my parents got upset too. As now I was sick and in pain, lost a lot of weight, was on some terrible medication and a super yukky diet. But the date was nearing and I still had not found my perefct violet sarre, though still sick we left for the market to see if I could find it this time.
After searching through some 30 pieces there was this bright purple saree with golden border and heavy pearl work on it which got my attention. The shopkeeper was nice enough to show the colors which I had already told him not to show me, I had to wear that one before somebody else gets it. My dad loved it too, so there was not much option left for my mom and aunt to say no. As I got out draped in that saree nobody could take their eyes off me, and we all knew it was the perfect saree for the late dinner after the ring ceremony. Yes I wore a different saree for the rituals(shade of green) and while exchanging rings, and later came in a light makeup wearing my purple saree for the after party.
I had even got heena(mehendi) done on my hands which I was crazy about since I was a little girl.
Soon after all the rituals were completed by the priest we exchanged our rings and I left for salon to get my hair, makeup and dress changed. In about two hours I reached back to the venue only to see a lot of guests, but I could make out where my man was - a tall, handsome, purple shiny guy in the crowd with all smiles on his face and staring back at me with so much love and happiness that I wanted to seize the moment forever.

Here are the pics of us sitting together at the dinner later and we exchanged our rings once again for the people who had missed earlier, and it was all cheers, blessing, glitters, flowers and sprays on us.
It was one of the most precious moments of my life to have him hitched to me until eternity.
Love him madly for being there with me and keeping me so happy and loved always, I don't know how life would have been without him by my side.
Blessed :)
